We require experienced Bus (PCV) Engineers / Mechanics to work for prestigious Bus Operators in London

Earn on average up to £40.000/year

The role of the mechanic is to support the preventative maintenance and vehicle examination team, ensuring the availability and reliability of a roadworthy fleet of vehicles to achieve operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities and tasks
• Performing regular inspection of vehicles including:
• Diagnosing faults
• rectifying faults and avoiding reoccurrence
• maintaining vehicles to the required legal and company standards
• Ensuring all relevant documentation and established maintenance regimes are adhered to
• Working as an integral member of the preventative maintenance team and display self-initiative and team work.
• Working the hours necessary to complete all tasks required to achieve Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR)
• Liaising effectively with Operational staff and other Engineering colleagues

Candidates must have the following:
• Eligible to work in the UK (EU settlement status)
• Good English Skills (Verbal and Written)
• Quality repair and preventative maintenance skills
• Ability to understand and execute training and instruction
• Ability to operate safely in a workshop environment
• Relevant engineering qualification
• Min 1 year of working experience in the related field
