We are looking for a Environmental Manager to run with the day to day running of our IPPC licensed waste water treatment plant.

Duties to include the following:

Supporting the Environmental Manager the successful candidate will play a hands on pivotal role in the day to day running of our waste water treatment plant as well maintaining our management system requirements to the highest set standards. The role is predominantly Monday to Friday but there is an out of office hour’s element that includes some Saturday’s as required.

Main duties will include:
- Liaising with The EPA on and off site.
- Daily laboratory testing.
- Monitoring of plant and equipment and keeping the plant well maintained.
- Full training will be given and there is the potential for the right graduate to progress to dealing directly with EPA and carrying out annual reports etc.
- General Maintaining and updating the WWT Plant Systems and Management Systems.
- Assisting in preparation for Environmental Audits.
- Carryout Environmental assessments in manufacturing, warehouse and office areas.
- Develop and implement the company’s commitments to Bord Bias Origin Green across the site.
- Conduct periodic environmental audits and inspections of on-site activities.
- Identification of site environmental training needs and assist in the organisation and delivery of training as appropriate.
- Maintain KPI data.

Cerinte:

> The successful candidate will have a qualification in Environmental Science or a related discipline
> Experience in Mechanics or mechanically minded people albeit not essential distinct advantage.
> Be able to work on own initiative
> Have good organisation skills
> Be enthusiastic and results orientated.
