SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Descriere:

• Work towards our goal of full infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code DevOps practices
• Support and maintain the company trading platform infrastructure and support systems
• Provide direct support and consultation to internal employees and clients
• Participate in infrastructure projects by taking responsibility for the entire technology stack and ensuring success through hands on participation
• Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple deadlines
• Participate in rotating on-call roster and cover in-house working hours in shifts as needed

Cerinte:

Your profile
• Very strong knowledge of Linux and networking
• 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Relevant experience in diverse fields (storage, systems, networking, applications, databases)
• Excitement and ambition to learn and develop new skills
• A deep interest in Open Source technologies
• Problem solving and troubleshooting complex issues independently and within a team
• Able to work on diverse work loads
• Strong communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Must be located in Germany, or willing to come to Germany ( on your own expenses – the company doesn’t help with relocation)
Additional desired skills:
• Experience in infrastructure automation (Vagrant, Ansible, Saltstack, Docker)
• Implementation of security relevant infrastructure
• Experience in high availability environments
• Previous experience in an IT position in the financial sector
• Kernel and other system performance tuning aspects
• Experience developing in Python or Java
