For the factory of a fortune 500 company located in Malta, we are searching:


TECHNICIANS

Responsabilities

At all times work in a safe manner and comply to all EH&S requirements such as Lock Out Tag Out, Restricted Area management, use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment

Ensure that all equipment H&S systems are in place and active e.g. Machine Guarding,

Perform Preventive Maintenance in accordance to established procedures and supplier recommendations

Improve Preventive Maintenance checklists based on machine performance

Perform Breakdown Maintenance as required

Implement Corrective Action (and Preventive Action) to eliminate breakdowns

Provide suggestions to improve equipment Yield and uptime and to improve product Quality (and implement such suggestions upon discussion with area manager),

Teach/Train employees in the appropriate operation of production equipment to maximise Yield, Uptime and product Quality in a safe manner

Support technical employees to achieve desired technical performance



Support Area Manager to improve operational processes and equipment
