Project Manufacturing Engineer

A large multinational Medical Device Company in Cork is now looking for a contract Manufacturing Engineer for an initial 18 months.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this job is to support manufacturing through the continuous development of manufacturing processes and support day to day operations. This position will Provide project leadership on continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

1. Manages and executes all aspects of design verification testing of Medical Devices to support compilation of device design history files.
2. Writes and executes validation protocols and reports
3. Determines and develops test requirements and specifications for device verification testing
4. Support R&D department in compilation of Design History files for Product portfolio
5. Supports validation department in drafting protocol sand reports when required
6. Additional duties as required

Have you?

1. Engineering or Science Degree or relevant Third Level Qualification
2. 2 – 4 years quality/ validation/Manufacturing engineering experience in Medical Device or other FDA regulated industries
3. Self starter, hands on, innovative, ability to influence
4. Strong analytical skills, ability to assess and identify root cause
5. Proven validation experience, ability to draft and execute validation protocols and reports
6. Working knowledge & experience of Quality systems, 6 sigma, SPC, FMEA, DOE, Sterilization
7. Effective communication and cross cultural skills
