➡️ Key Responsibilities:

- As a Healthcare Assistant at The Group Nursing Homes, you’ll support residents with personal care, mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing in a respectful, person-centred environment.

- You’ll follow individual care plans, observe and report changes in residents’ health, and work closely with the nursing team to ensure safety, dignity, and comfort at all times.

- Key qualities include empathy, patience, reliability, and a strong commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.





➡️ Essential Criteria:

At least 6+ months of experience in elderly care - dealing with dementia, frailty, palliative, convalescence, stroke, diabetes, immobility.



➡️ Desirable Criteria:

A healthcare qualification that is equivalent to or exceeds Level 5 on the QQI framework. (EU diploma as a HCA)



➡️ Shift:

- Average 42hours per week
- 12 hours shift pattern - 3 days one week and 4 days the next week
Day 8AM to 8PM / Night 8PM to 8AM



➡️ Annual leave:

20 days paid leave per annum





➡️ Salary:
- €13.50 - €14.50 / hour depending on experience and qualifications.
- €15.43 / hour effective rate if including paid breaks (@€13.50 base hourly rate)
Premium Rates when working on Saturdays and Sundays, Double Pay on Public Holidays, overtime also available.
