Audit Manager

The company is a Big 4 practice, in the process of strengthening their team they are looking for a number of qualified Senior Accountants to manage a portfolio of clients.

Based in Cork these roles offer fast career progression for the right candidate whilst engaging with a portfolio of client through the group such as large indigenous, multi-national.

As an Audit Manager, you will manage client relationships and expectations as well as developing the client portfolio, managed, supervise and lead a team.

You will be expected to achieve specific audit engagements to the high standard expected of employees of the firm, whilst demonstrating the firm values of: working as a team, focusing on their clients and targets.

Overall duties include:
• Management of client relationships, expectations and the ability to develop client portfolio
• Develop relations with existing clients in order to gather feedback on the quality of work delivered and improvement of services where required
• Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, client's engagement history, and planned audit approach
• Challenge procedures used in the past and attempt to enhance audit techniques
• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment. Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to client requests, and develop, maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
• Management of the audit team, utilisation of personnel and manage work in progress of each assignment
• Develop your team people, integrity, and leadership. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities
• Coach staff in developing and achieving performance goals and objectives
• Maintain strong client relations and cross-sell services with your portfolio.

Cerinte:

Ideally you will be:
• A qualified accountant (ACCA, CA, CGA CPA) with excellent academic record
• 2-3 years PQE minimum with an appetite to develop your career in practice
• Strong commitment, communication skills and proven record of professional and client focused individual
• Proven track record of outstanding performance and display a high level of people and business skills
• Shown an on-going commitment to your personal and professional development through continuing education
• Dedicated to team work and leadership
