Engineering Project Manager

A fast-growing company based in Oxfordshire is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join their engineering team designing unique machinery and equipment for specialist scientific processes. The company has won numerous international awards for innovation and are by far the world leader in their field.

This Engineering Project Manager position would see you developing existing products and designing completely new projects to exploit demand in rapidly emerging growth markets for multinational blue-chip customers.

Key Tasks
- To lead medium-size engineering projects, developing new machine designs and improving the reliability, suitability and efficiency of existing machinery
- To create product specification project plans
- To manage the plan ensuring all activities proceed to schedule.
- To monitor and co-ordinate with internal and external suppliers
- To help implement and roll out new project management processes across the department

This position would provide a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on length and relevance of experience.

Cerinte:

Essential Key Skills/Experience
- Engineering background, ideally degree qualified in a related discipline
- Experience in Product Development and managing projects
- Experience with Special Purpose Machinery or high value-low volume scientific equipment
- Over 5 years experience managing projects

Desirable Skills/Experience
- Managing projects to a value of £100,000 or above
- Prince 2 / PMI certified
- Experience with handling systems, automation or vacuum systems
- Experience with CE approvals
- Electrical engineering knowledge
